The AFA's Holiday Ferret Expo will be held at the Ramada Hotel and
Exhibition Center on Saturday, Dec. 5th.  Open to the public from 9:30
A.M. to at least 5 P.M.  There will also be seminars on various ferret
topics on the evening of the 4th.  See the AFA website at www.ferret.org

Address: 8500 Annapolis Rd., New Carrollton, MD.  Take the east side of the
D.C. Beltway (495) and you will see the hotel right off exit 20 (450 West.)
 
Besides the 3-ring competition, attractions include:
- shelter/rescue and pedigreed ferrets for sale
- vendor and ferret club raffles
- veterinary texts and ferret care books
- cages, foods, health, comfort and hygiene itmes for ferrets, ferret-themed
  novelties such as decorations, t-shirts, and much more
- lots of free information about ferrets and ferret clubs
- information booth on the project to rescue the endangered American
  species, the black-footed ferret.
 
Admission: $5. for adults, $2. children 7 to 17, under 7 free with paid
adult.
