For Pat M. : you may try a piece of cloth/bedding that your fuzzies have
used, I think it is the musk smell of the Fert itself and not it's droppings
that scares off the mice.  We had had a few mice around the house at times
before Katie came to live with us, but since she has been here cruising
around the house we haven't seen a one. It's been just over 2 years. Let me
know if this works???
 
I think I have the same Ferret book as Deana does. But, I think the "Ecu" is
a typo... in the index at the back of the book it says "Ecru" like the
color. I still don't know what they're talking about though, it looked like
a plain ole sable in the picture. Is there a really good book out there that
has pictures and deffinitions of all these great color variations I keep
hearing about?
