Just a suggestion for ferret fun.  Take a pile of dirty clothes, preferably
long pants, long-sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, and sweaters.  Spread them
out on the floor or the bed.  Tuck sleeves into sleeves, pant legs into
sleeves, pant legs into pant legs, shirt bottoms into pant tops -- you get
the idea.  Hide your fuzzy's favorite toys in amongst the clothes.  Make
sure the fuzzy sees you doing this or squeak the toys iffen they're
squeakable.  Sit back and enjoy.
 
On rice ... I tried letting MoJo snorkel in brown rice -- the regular
takes-forever-to-cook variety.  The few bits that he ingested, passed
through unchanged.  I checked.
