I am thinking about getting an Avid chip put in my 10 week old ferret when
she is older.  When I took her to the vet today for her shot and asked
about it, they said most people don't do it for ferrets.  But they do it on
birds, cat, dogs and almost all other animals.  They said most people just
don't ask for it to be put in their ferrets.  But I think it is a good idea
just incase something happened.  DO any of you have the Avid chip in, it is
in both of my dogs and it never bothered them.
