Eyes call for emergency appointments.

Cataracts can develop fast but shouldn't affect appetite, though I
could be wrong.

There might be chemical damage, infection, or if the eye is swelling or
hard there might be a cataract in the wrong position so it is causing
glaucoma, too. That second one does cause enough pain to affect
appetite.
