I want to thank all the nice and knowledgeable people who wrote back about
my questions on polyurethane. To add to the original concerns, I am now
pregnant with a much-wanted baby. So, given all the warnings from people,
we've decided to put off refinishing the floors until the summer. That way,
we can open up the windows and hopefully lessen the amount of time we need
to vacate the house.

We welcomed a new 8 week old baby fuzzball into the family last night.
She's a very dark sable with a dark nose--one of my personal favorite ferret
themes. She's joining our other new little boy--beautiful 11 week old
Gizmo, who is colored something like a Siamese cat. And they are both
joining our 2 year old Widget, who is a very dark sweetheart of a sable
(with another cute little dark nose).

I think the family of meepers is complete for now. We lost 2 yr. old
Beezer about 3 weeks ago to a horrible accident. I don't think I have it in
me to put the details into print; but to anyone who has fears about clothes
dryers, you can't obsess enough about it. I've had ferrets for 18 years and
never had an accident before. And I've never been responsible for anything
so horrible in my life. In honor of Beezer, PLEASE OBSESS!!

Thanks again--
Sandra
