I have been wanting to shampoo the carpets in my house for quite some time
now. I especially would like to do the ferret's room because while
Sobriety was sick, he often missed the litterbox. Although I spot cleaned
quite frequently after his accidents, I still would like to shampoo the
entire rug.

Has anyone out in ferretland had any experience with this? I have been
afraid to do the carpets because I don't know what kind of chemicals are
used. I was wondering if there is anything I can use that is ferret safe.
Is it wiser to rent a steamer and do it myself or should I have it done
professionally? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. I
don't want to put the fuzzbeans in any danger.

Thanks!
