Hi Everyone:
I posted yesterday about the 4 yr old ferret who was being given up
because he had killed a kitten (his owner's fault, not his).  I was trying
to help this woman find him a new home for him - she had put him in the
local paper for "free" - I don't know her personally.  I told her I would
post it on the FML and try to find a home for him.  I also gave her the
number for the shelter where I got my guys.
 
She, unfortunately, didn't give me a chance to find him a home.  I think
as soon as I gave her the shelter number, she ran right over there and
surrendered him.  Oh well, we tried.  Don't get me wrong, the shelter is
a great one, I just thought it would be better if he went to a home.
 
Thank you to those people who called and/or emailed me with concern for
him - you people are wonderful and I really appreciate it.  It's great
to have a network like the FML family.
