What's that building up ahead......A FERRET CONDO!!!!!!....Let's see
who's home...

Look it's our good friends Comet and Pepper!...Would you like to here the
story of the couple?

I'd be glad to tell it... HORAY...

A long time ago in a place called DC there was a little ferret named
Pepper in a pet shop all alone, but the BIG shopkeepers were nice so she
didn't mind constantly feeling mild depression.

But one day this little person (for a human) came into the store asking
if he could hold her. She was delighted, no one had ever wanted to hold her
that she didn't know, because all ferrets know that humans are scared of
what they don't understand.

But ferrets were much different, they are curious of things they don't
understand, much like this mini-human. But as the mini human came close to
the cage he seemed a big taller, and all of a sudden, whosh she was into the
mini human's arms'. He smelled very funny she had never smelled something
like this before.

"How much is he... or she?" the boy asked. Ya right thought Pepper no
one could just buy a treasure like herself. "300, cage and all" said hank
(her favorite shopkeeper). Pepper gasped in horor, jumped out of the
mini-humans hands and scampered to her hiding place.

BAAAM!!!!! Before she knew it the mini-human had captured her. "This
human is good at catching ferrets" she thought, after all she was the
fastest ferret she knew. "Sorry" said the mini-human, "is she hurt?"

"Not likely" said hank,"that ferret could do anything without getting
hurt, she's a tank."

Pepper didn't like to be called a tank, she didn't know what a tank was,
she was only 4 in ferret years, human years went forever, it seemed.

"Just a minute I have get some one" said the mini-human. And with that
he raced out the door.

It was at least ten minutes before the "kid" got back (hank called him a
kid), when he did he had a big human he called mom with him

"Can I get her," asked the kid.

"It looks like a rat now lets go," the mom replied.

"She can be my Christmas present," the kid said.

Clunk-Clank went the plastic card copier. Pepper looked out of the
small box she was in and to her surprise all her belonging and her house
were gone. Then the box was closed and it was very dark.

Maybe I'll scratch my way out she thought...SCRATCH SCRATCH SCRATCH
SCRATCH SCRATCH SCRATCH...That wasn't working. Then the box opened and she
was in a strange store that sold furniture. The nice little boy called it a
house (The boy was much taller now, and the mom was very nice and didn't
think they she was a rat)

Day 35 and still no other ferrets to play with she thought. 5 years old
and no one to wrestle with. But one day another ferret came, it was a a
little boy ferret, she could easily beat him in a wrestle. As the months or
ferret years went by the boy ferret grew huge.

After a while the little boy ferret (he called himself Comet) grew to be
twice the size of Pepper and he won at wrestling every day. After a couple
more ferret years they decided to move into an extra large ferret condo and
get some more furniture, and that's where they are today... This story is
dedicated to ferret legalization...
