For what its worth....  I recently got a MF ferret from a pet store -- this
is one of the best pet stores in the area:  they don't sell cats and dogs,
everything has good-sized cages, all the employees are pet lovers (one has
had about a dozen ferrets over the years, so they're not just selling animals
they know nothing about).  But when I asked how the ferret was, they said 6
weeks.  Now, maybe they were just completely wrong.  Or, maybe they meant that
they had gotten him at 6 weeks (I think they'd had the 4 of them for about a
week and a half, and I can't imagine that they really got them in at 4 weeks!)
But if they did get them in at 6 weeks, then they would have had to have been
younger than that when they were neutered, no?
