i found using borax soap powders works great on fleas and seems to kill
the eggs with just one use. just spread it on the carpert and let it
set for over a half hour then use the vac on it. we didnt let teh
ferrets out on it but did half the house at a time also washing all the
ferret bedding. it killed all the live fleas and thier eggs also. borax
for us oldies is the 40 mule soap the put on wagon train it now comes
in a yellow box. and whats left over can be used to wash your dirty
stuff too
