This is a good one.  Yes, Baytril can be giving orally (tablet form or
using the injectable form).  It can also be giving SQ, IM, and IV.  As
to which route is best depends on the nature of the infection and the
condition of the ferret.  The injectable form can be mixed with ferretone
or other oil products to hide the taste.  (It taste real bad that is why
your ferrets were acting like they were.)
