Re Hair Loss
 
My 4 yr old male recently had male pattern baldness on his back end.  The
vet did all kinds of tests, which were inconclusive.  Since there was no
evidence of fleas or excessive scratching, and he get excellent food (Iams
kitten chow and linetone), it was 99% for sure he had an adrenal gland
tumor.  The vet wanted to try a cortizone injection, just in case it was a
skin allergy of some kind.  It was a miracle!  His fur grew back immediately
and he's much happier now that he feels handsome again.
