Hello Everyone!
 
It was great to meet so many of you at the conference, I had a wonderful
time and I hope you all did too.  =D)
 
I went on vacation almost immediately after and didn't get a chance to
clear up the remainder of the Conference stuff (many of you have sent
me questions).  So first off thanks for making the fashion show so
successful, I was really happy to see our ferrets on the runway and we
were able to raise a lot of money for the shelter.

Over the next few days I will try to respond to everyone that emailed me
and forward the address.
 
I also had a number of people ask me about Ferretopoly; it was donated to
the shelter for auction that evening.  It was donated by Gwendolyn & Mary
the makers of the game and having bought my own game from them I can tell
you it's great!  I love the ferret money, and the fact that they go to
the Vet instead of jail (sorry to all the Vets out there but I'm sure
visiting you isn't the "highlight" of our ferts lives.)  It's all the
details on the game that make it fun, you can tell it was made by ferret
owners and not a company trying to capitalize on my obsessive collecting
of all things ferret.  Well for everyone who asked again I will try to
forward out the information as soon as I can but the game can be
purchased for $44.99 USD.

information or to order.  They also donate $5 from each game sold to
their local ferret shelter; sorry I can't find the shelter name right
now but perhaps others will have more information. =)
 
Finally to everyone who asked about the Fashion Show video- we have
finished editing our copy and have a short version that will go on the
web soon.  The Pet Network also recorded the show and we will be sure to
pass on information about the show as soon as I have any.  They recorded
3 different stories about ferrets; one on The Ferret Aid Society, one on
The Ferret Couture Fashion Show and one on Ferret Care (thanks to Donna
Spirito and all the models for giving interviews!).  They won't air until
September at least however I will forward out all the information I can
get when it becomes available.  I'll also let you know when our recording
is online; it'll be appearing on Ferret Couture and The Ferret Aid
Society.
 
Oh and one last thing- Wolfy I looked at your pics and they are
fantastic!  Thanks for sharing them even if I am just an unknown
"friend" of Travis's. ;-)  I guess I will have to make a bigger
impression next time!
