This post in in reference to Brian Bledsoe, who is concidering the Purchase
of a Ferret. The price's all very cause of shipping to different areas, and
the demand for them also. Supply and Demand are always the issue when it
comes to shipping goods accross the US. Most Ferrets are Bred at Marshall
Farms in NY, and are shiped to different places before your local pet store
get them. If they are that high in Texas, you should search around the area
and call all pet stores there, to get price checks, or you can find out if
there is a distribitor in the area there also, and Check to see if there are
any in the papers that are being adopted out, sometimes you can get them
there for not to much. There are plenty of options and i wish you good luck
and success in finding one of the most Loving Fuzzies on the Earth. You
will experence alot of joy with them. Gary
