Interesting reply from KQED.  For what its worth, I sent on some e-mail to
All Things Considered on NPR that was in the FML a couple of days back along
with some background and web sites for their research.  For those of you
haven't heard them, All Things Considered does very in-depth issue analysis
and is probably one of the most popular radio news show in the US.  If
anyone can take this and run, they can.  I gave it to them from the point
not as a Ferret owner (heck I don't even live in CA), but from the political
side and from the issue that they are standing alone against the other
continental states.  That may make it more appealing to them.
