Put bitter apple cream on the ear of Clara.  This does seem to help as we
had similiar problems.  Poor Fluff Fluff's ear had broken blood vessels.
We did this everytime we put the ferret't to bed.  If the ferret is young
they will in time get over this, or at least ours did.  Think it took six
months tho.  We had four at the time who sucks the other's ears.
