There are ferrets for sale at our pet store so as far as I know they are
legal here.  Where they buy them I do not know.  I don't think they are
from Marshal Farms, but from a Southern Ontario breeder.  Also the
Michigan pet store across the river from us sells ferret kits.  I think
they got them through Marshal Farms, but I cannot be certain. I may have
forgotten to read the FAQ's but what are the "greens and the green
disease"?  Does it have to do with their waste?  I heard that the humane
society here killed one ferret because she had *severe* diahrrea.  (she
was quite old also).
