Well, lets just say I had 2 fat ferrets. Gloin was 69 oz (4 lbs, 5 oz)
and Gimil 62 (3 lbs 14 oz). lets jsut say gloin couldn't heave himself
off the floor and Gimli was getting close. I got them about a month ago
and since that time, Gimli is down to a trim 49 oz (3 lbs 1 oz) and Gloin
55 oz (3 lbs 7 oz). Gloin no longer looks like he has a spinal injury,
but is still really chubby. They are medium built boys. Actually, My
Bad beorn Bear weighs 54 oz and is skinny, but he is a big ferret. They
lost weight by changing to Totally Ferret alon with the rest of my kids
and by learning how to play! They are out for 3-4 hours daily, and I
spend the first hour vigorusly being swarmed by 8 ferrets, and making
gloin use his back legs to propel him up a ramp! Gimli can now climb,
but Gloin hasn't gottten his back legs off the ground yet! The point of
thei rambling is to use a high-quality food so that they do not over eat
trying to get the nutrition they need, lots of play time, and get involved
in their play time!
