Guidelines for Pet Stores Selling Ferrets??

Do any of the states have guidelines for Pet Stores to follow when selling
ferrets?  Maine has guidelines that have to be followed for dogs and cats
but not ferrets.  If anyone has such a thing could they send me a copy or
tell me where to find it?
