I just joined the list several days ago and this is my first post, so here
it goes... Someone asked today whether it was o.k. to leave their little
fuzzy out-and-about during the day when they're not home. I always let my
little man (Fezzick) out but restricted to my bedroom. I hate keeping him
in his cage and since my room is ferret-proofed I don't have to worry. If
you do this, though, make sure your fuzzball can't fit under the door (I
have to block mine with a board). It also helps if you have carpet that you
don't mind getting destroyed! It's definitely worth it, though, to come
home and find little Fez curled up under my covers, happy and safe.

By the way, I loved the "Everything I Need to Know in Life I Learned
From my Ferret" (sorry- I'm not sure who posted it).
