Just kidding. I don't think it's a brain tumor. However, last night I was
loving up my little Calvin (6 mo altered MF male) and I noticed that he has
a small bump on the back of his head, slightly to the left of center. I
would appreciate any advice anyone has on this (I'm a very worry-wart kind
of mommy). It feels like it is about 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch in diameter, and
it stands 1/4 of an inch of less high. It does not seem to be hurting him,
since he let me touch and feel it a lot without really noticing. My
question is, what is this? Could it be a welt from falling and bumping his
head or something? But if it is just a bruise, wouldn't it hurt him to have
me touch it? How long should I observe the bump before I take him to the
vet? Is it some type of cyst? If it is a cyst, how serious would it be to
remove it? If anyone could give me any insights I would really appreciate
it. Please e-mail me, so we don't clutter up the FML. BTW, Calvin is
acting normally in every aspect. He doesn't seem to have noticed the bump.

     Thanks a ton.
