Dweazle weezle
 
I was bored a bit today, so I looked in on you a few times.  One of the
few times BUDDY wasn't with you.  You were on your back, with your front
paws held up in front of your chest.  I looked like you were begging in
your sleep.  I couldn't help but pet your tummy, you never moved your
breath never changed, you were far away.  You were so at peace, you
barely noticed as I stroked you chin, a sigh was my reward for a few more
jaw rubs.  It was all I needed.
 
I'm so blessed with your energy, Yes,your age shows at times, but you'll
always be "my sookiens" I know you now want scritches as I open your
cage.  At times I can almost here you giggle.  That's ok.  I don't mind
as you stretch a few times before I set you on the floor.  Do you watch
me as you nap on my shoulder as I try to do this errand?  Do you
understand the words I try to string together?  I know in a few hours
you'll find you way up on the bed, after a few sniffs you'll be on my
chest, a big sigh will tell me it's time for some Dweezle back strokes.
You'll nap on my chest for a few minutes; then like a whisp of grey smoke
you'll be gone, back in your sleepy drawer.
 
I've carried to the sleep place, BUDDy greeted you with ear washes, and a
nuzzle to my hand.  He's made it clear to me he was waiting for you.
You're in Buds care for a while now.
