Jen, That actually is not that unusual. We've found that it usually
happens when a ferret has cause to feel insecure. Snowy's been going
through a lot so let him have time to feel safer again.

How warm is the food? It you take it between 100 to 107 or so it will
put out more odor. Smelling it better will also reassure Snowy.

Yes, if he is giving more dominance to Sasha now then he won't challenge
her for food or even approximate doing so. We have that happening with
Ashling right now, and she needs Ashling-only soup time. (Then again she
has been alive and doing okay for 5 weeks since the night she almost
died, and she is finding that her condition means that she is getting
cuddles and kisses anytime she wants for as long as she wants; we leave
whatever else we are doing.)

The CA F&G story does NOT pick up on any searches eitehr of us has
done. It is probably one of those false rumors which abound.
