IN the past few months I have had to refuse personal surrenders; there's
one shelter that ADV/CEP tests, is current on distemper vacs and screens
applicants carefully in Maryland.....Oxford Ferret Rescue and Shelter....
All surrenders to this shelter are not only medically cared for upon
receipt, but the household is a place of solace without any threat or
harm to those being surrendered. It is a ferret friendly home/shelter.

They are having a fundraiser to help to clear vet bills, and hope to make
a little something in order to continue to keep their doors open.

I am asking the community to support the shelter in Maryland that has
supported the Hagerstown Md Rescue, OXFORD FERRET RESCUE AND SHELTER.
The shelter op, Claudia, and volunteer extraordinare, Dee, have been here
at Rocky's cleaning cages, feeding, doing whatever needed to be done.

I ask you all to support them now. Never is a surrender given to Claudia
that had to wait for medical. Never has an emergency not been given
emergency care. All surrenders get what they need in the timeliness
that they needed care....and not waited for a fundraiser. However, the
fundraiser is here and now.....Claudia and Dee have been on the
frontlines of caring for the Hagerstown Kids and the Wolfsville kids,
and now they need our help. Please send a financial donation to help
offset any vet bills, as well as plan for the future.

I personally thank you.
