I am very happy for you and your big rare biter! There is a lot of
truth in your philosophy! In the horse world when we put two horses
on a trailer that did not care for each other, you could hear the
negotiation going on. "Hey, yeah you! The one I like to chase and bite
at. You know this stall is getting ready to move, so let's make a pack
to be supportive to each other."

Okay, maybe they did not speak that clearly, but there would be
sniffing and no ear pinning or kicking, biting. I never had trouble
on the trailer and I feel they also got along better on the trail ride.
