How old?

Is he losing any fur?

Does he currently have any other signs which may indicate possible
adrenal growths besides the behavioral one?

Alex asked about funding health studies. There are certainly others but
here are a few ways to help advance ferret vet health knowledge:

The Ferret Health Fund at Michigan State University (Make out check
that way, please.)
Matti Kiupel
Michigan State University
Department of Pathobiology and Diagnostic Investigations
Diagnostic Center for Population and Animal Health
4125 Beaumont Road, Room 152A
Lansing, MI 48910
USA
(ECE, DIM, and others are being worked on in Dr. Kiupel's lab.)

The Ferret Tissue Bank at the AFIP

and
http://fhl.sonic-weasel.org/browse.php?msg=YG5319
Research for Ferrets
Dept. of Telemedicine
Armed Forces Institute of Pathology
Washington DC 20306-6000
Your check should be made out to the Registry of Veterinary Pathology,
and at the bottom should be marked "For Ferret Research"

For ADV:
Kate Pennick, Research Tech III
Dept. of Pathology -- Room 148
UGA College of Vet Med
Athens, GA 30602-7388
Checks should be made out to the "University Foundation" and should have
"ADV Research" written in the notations line of the check. For general
contributions to an EXCELLENT charity where vets review proposals to
decide which to fund.

Mark on the check and your accompanying note that the money is to be
used for Domestic Ferret health studies
Morris Animal Foundation
45 Inverness Drive East
Englewood, CO 80112-5480

That should be a good selection to get the ball rolling.
