In response to the middle child syndrome ferret. We have a similar
problem. Bandit (3 yrs.) has only child syndrome. When we brought Taz
(about 6 months) home, Bandit was not then and still isn't a happy ferret.
He HATES Taz. We have them in separate cages, as we have since we brought
Taz home in January, and whenever we try to put them together (outside of
the cages) Bandit attacks Taz. He goes right to the front of the neck on
Taz & Taz shakes if Bandit goes near him. About the only child syndrome.
Bandit reacts similarly if I pay attention to Taz or if he gets put away
for being bad.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do? I would really like Bandit
& Taz to get along.

Thanks.

Heather
