My family, including two ferrets, lives in an apartment and we have
recently developed a mouse problem.  Maintenance is bringing in an
exterminator.  They are not sure what they will be using yet, but we will
probably have to leave with the animals for a couple hours.
 
My questions are: has anyone gone through this before?  Should I be worried
about the chemicals they may use?
