Supplement for old ferret : Barley Green ?

I have a lovely ferret.  He is 6 year old now, so I think I have to
consider to give him good food and/or some supplements.
 
In USA, barley leaf extract named "Barley Green" or "Green Magma" is sold
in health food shops, and "Barley Dog" and "Barley Cat" are found in some
pet shops.
 
Are they also good for ferrets?  I wonder.  If anybody has idea, please
let me know.
