A little bit to add on keeping ferrets cool and fans. Those rectangular
ones fall down a lot! So make sure there stable and don't fall on your
fuzzy. Also make sure the plastic "screen" is on securely and doesn't have
any holes. I have one with a broken piece of plastic making a small hole.
I had brought it up from the basement and was going to tape it - before I
could I caught Giesela trying to put her head in there! I guess she doesn't
remember when she was a baby and her former owner left here with a fan on
with no cover - she stuck her head in there, got knocked out, lots of blood
and thrown across the room (thank God). She turned out to be fine, this was
a story told me by the owner when I got her. Sheeesh!

Check your fans!
Mary, Boris and Giesela (who didn't like swimming much in my little
kiddie pool I got for them:(
