For anyone who is interested, the following if from the 2nd Edition of the
James G. Fox book, page 309:

"In New Zealand, clinical signs of progressive caudal paralysis,
muscle wasting, urinary incontinence, and tremors were documented
in ADV-antibody positive ferrets. Additionally, histologic lesions
included mild to severe lymphocytic meningoencephalamyelitis, foci
of demyelination in the white matter, and infiltration of meninges
with lymphocytes and plasma cells (12)."

  (12) Diseases of the fitch. Surveillance 1984;11:28.
