Catherine Garcias article is nothing but the truth. When she called me and
told me about the article. I could not believe it, but yet I could. Humans
can be so cruel. Not all humans, but some have the capacity to exhibit evil
cruelty beyond anyone belief.

I called the Provo Police Department to make sure these low life scum
sucking pieces of sh.... were charged with the something. They were charged
with animal cruelty. I know in Salt Lake County and I believe the state has
just passed a one year jail sentence for this crime, but that is still not
enough as far as I am concerned.

Humans made animals pets. We owe them our best protection, unwavering love,
and dedication. Yet, we see too often, pets are abused, abandoned, and
senslessly killed.

I don't care if that lady was a lesbian, the town whore, or even an alien
from another planet. You don't have the right to kill a poor innocent
defensless animal to justify your own ignorant prejudice. My personal
opinion of scum like these two individuals are they are too chicken shit
(pardon my language) to stand up to human being. So they take it out on
the weakest thing they can find.

Now, I am not making any excuses for those #$%#) individuals, but the one
problem I do have with that lady and with others who own Ferrets is this.
She let them run free in her house, when she came home they managed to get
past her. This is her carelessness that allowed her precious defensless
animals to get into the hands of those preditors. Too many times I get
phone calls from people who claim to love their Ferrets, but refuse to cage
them while they are gone. Then they call asking if anyone has seen their
Ferret. It somehow managed to get out. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE HEARD THIS
BEFORE?

Please, please, please, I have said it before and so has others. If you
love your animals, protect them. A ferret is just like having a two year
old kid. You cannot leave them unsupervised. If you must leave them, lock
them up. All they are going to do is sleep anyway. When you return, let
them out. If you do this, your Ferrets will be safe from dangers in the
house and also all the dangerous low life scum sucking preditors lurking in
your neighborhood.

I am sure I'll hear from some of you who disagree, but just remember. If
your one of those Ferret Parents who allows your Ferret to run free while
your gone and someday your Ferret comes up missing and ends up in the mits,
claws, or hands of a preditor. You only have yourself to blame.

P/S, I plan on writing, telephoning, and doing whatever I can to make sure
those big tough guys who beat that ferret to death get to spend some time
in our state cage. Maybe they can be someones pet.
