1. How long have you had ferrets?
9 years this August!
 
2. What got you interested in ferrets?
As a child, my family owned a pet store.  We had a wide varity of animals
over the years ( both at the shop and at home as well ) baby gorilla's,
baby bears, chimpanzee's, reptiles, cat's, dogs, rabbits, mice, rats,
chipmunks, fish, etc, etc, etc - but my favorite of all had been a
raccoon we had named Black Bart.  I simply adored him, and when he passed
away prematurely, I was heart broken for many years.  In 1997 we were
looking for a "different" type of pet - I wanted another raccoon, but
they were illegal, so I logged online and typed in "raccoon like" and
found "Ferret" and feel in love, even before we had our very first one!
 
3. Do your ferrets get an Easter basket or Xmas stocking (or any other
   holiday gifts)?
Is the Pope Catholic????

1. Do you consider yourself an owner, enthusiast, or slave?
A mom that happens to have children both with and without fur!
 
2. How many hours a week do you spend tending to your babies?
If they are awake, I'm in there, or they are out here with us!
 
3. Do you have any tattoos, piercing, etc?
Tattoo, yes, designed it myself even!
 
About the FML-
 
1. Why did you join the FML?
I wanted to learn as much as I could about having a ferret in my home
BEFORE I got any ferrets!
 
2. What is your favorite thing about this group?
How deeply people can care, how willing they are to offer comfort,
advice, funny stories and idea's
 
3. Least favorite thing?
Right now?  The flaming going on about a certain shelter.  In the past?
just any bashing in general.
