In this season of giving and being thankful......
Bugsy Malone of Stinky Pete's Ferret Retreat shelter in Florida thanks
each and every one of you who have supported the SOS raffles throughout
the years and in doing so, directly helped him receive the medical care
he so desperately needed to live. He may only have one eye now, but
he's safe and loved and not in pain anymore. SAVED -- because you
cared.
There are countless other ferrets that thank you for your support, like
Cupcake, the little sable girl ignored by her owner until she weighed
only 320 grams and was nearing her last breath. SAVED -- because you
helped!
Or little Geoffrey, whose owner never realized that he had a blockage
and was dying when she dumped him and his friend off at the shelter
because they didn't have time for them anymore. Your support helped
Geoffrey get the surgery he needed to live. SAVED -- because you
helped!
Little Dempsey thanks you too -- he got severe shelter shock when his
family dropped him off at the shelter because they didn't want him
anymore. SAVED -- because you helped.
