Dear Ferret Folks-

Yesterday someone wrote

In your moral code it is wrong, in the sellers it is not. This is
America, with all its warts and failings, but in America, your moral
code still does not have precedence over his as long as he is acting
within the law. Skinning out a dead animal is legal, as long as it
isn't something specifically protected, like a bald eagle.

If this bothers you, you have the right to lobby Congress to *make* it
illegal to skin out a ferret, the same way you have the right to protest
to your towns local legislative body if someone tries to open a strip
club in your neighbourhood, even if the zoning allows for it.

The right to protest is yours, the right to act is his, and God willing,
that will never change is this country of ours. Our ancestors fought for
it, died for it. This is democracy.
