Dear Kat,

Since I live in Washington State I can't help you or the poor little baby
fuzzy in New Jersey. I hope somebody goes today and buys him!

PLEASE RECONSIDER smuggling ferrets on airplanes. Some people are highly
allergic to ferrets and you could make their flights miserable or even life
threatening and they would have no way to prevent it. This may be some of
the reason for airline rules about animals on board. One of our children
is seriously allergic to cats (but not to ferrets luckily) and we have had
family outings ruined by people who have smuggled cats into out of bounds
places. A long awaited expensive family outing at an amusement park was
cut to 30 minutes there and many hours in an emergency room because of
someone who was thinking only of themselves when smuggling a cat into a no
pets area. We had seven very disappointed children and were unable to
afford a return trip with so many in our family (foster and adoptive).
After some misery and one sleepless night our 4 year old recovered but not
all are so lucky.

Please think about the people whose lives you may impact before smuggling
in any pets. You obviously are a caring person and you can do it!

Carol Illback (and 4 kids and 4 ferrets)
