Leak proof water bottle

I know this might not solve the problem but I notice build up on the
ball that prevents it from seating hence the leakage. Two things I
suggest, cleaning that metal ball and putting a water dish below the
hanging water bottle. Our ferrets seem to prefer the water in the water
dish anyway, I still use the bottles so that no matter what, they have
a source of water.
