i thought this might be interesting to some of you!!!
 
i was at the barns & noble in Olympia WA today.  & came across a book
in the pet section.  ( exotic pet survival manual ) it listed as exotic
snakes, spiders, Beatles, and other insects.  looking through it i
noticed that NO WHERE did it mention mice, Guinea pigs, or hamsters,
also there was NO mention what so ever of ferrets listed as exotic.  now
i realize that it's just this book and there is probably another book
that adds these animals as exotic?  but the fact that this book didn't
list certain animals as exotic interested me very much.
