I posted a couple of weeks ago about my neighbor's ferrets who were
looking for a home. They were offered to me and I originally refused.

I now have possession of the fuzzies, who were basically abandoned in
their cage in the basement. Friday evening, my "watchdog" retired
neighbor across the street told me that the Power Company had been out
that day to cut off the power. I hadn't seen anyone at the house for
several days. So I grabbed my husband and we walked into the back yard
to see if the basement garage door was locked. It wasn't, so he pulled
up the door. Two skinny fuzzies were curled up in a filthy cage, no
food, a small amount of dirty water in their bowl. They were extremely
happy to see us! Cuddly, friendly fuzzies, lots of kisses.

They are both around a year old (according to the neighbors when we last
spoke, about 3 weeks ago). The boy is a light caramel/chocolate, the
girl a light sable. Both seem healthy and are putting on weight, eating
kibble and Bob's Chicken Gravy. Shot status is unknown.

The only problem is, with Max's health issues and our tight finances, I
*REALLY* don't need 5 furballs. Three was my self-imposed limit. Is
there anyone who is looking to add to their crew in TN or an adjoining
state? I can drive a couple of hours to meet someone for delivery
(Nashville, Johnson City, Chattanooga?). I will be traveling to
Charlotte, NC and Greensboro, NC (visiting family) the weekend of the
31st, if anyone in NC is interested.

Someone please adopt these sweethearts! I will keep them if I must (I'm
already getting attached) but it would be best if I could find them a
good loving home with someone else...please help!
