On the subject of the bite case in Virginia and the State Health Department:
 
I recently talked to Ann and Howard Davis of the League of Independent
Ferret Enthusiasts (L.I.F.E.) - and they are already well into the case!
The State Health Department has faxed them all pertinent data, and they, in
exchange, have already sent out packets of information.  In fact, progress
is being made - Howard has already been involved in dialogs with the Health
Department.  After the success of Howard's dialog with the HSUS, we can only
hope a successful resolution will be forthcoming.
 
When I get further updates from Ann or Howard Davis, I'll pass them along.
