I, too, have come across this dog toy at several different petstores, and
find the sound it makes to be horrific.  I almost cried the first time I
heard it and it makes me sick that whoever put this on the market would
find it in any way appealing.  My dog loves and plays with all of our
ferrets, and if he heard this sound, I'm sure it would distress him as
well.
