i'd just like to thank everyone who sent sympathy notes on the passing of
Pheonix.  my friend who took Pheonix in has just got her own email address,
so i've forwarded copies to her as well.  she was really touched by all the
sympathy she recieved.
 
also for those who are interested, the autopsy performed on Pheonix leads
the vet to believe that the cause of death was that her blood could not
clot.  we're not sure wether this was a condition she had always lived
with, or one caused by her illness, as the first thing the vet did was give
her blood transfusions, but her ulcer had reopened, and she could not heal
that final time.
 
i'd also like to take this oportunity to thank the Ferret Aid Society of
Toronto for all the help they gave my friend in caring for Pheonix.
