We are still waiting for my pupil to finish being able to decrease size
properly. It got stuck at 2mm difference from the other eye for three
days but now is only 1 mm different on day 11 after totally stopping
the atropine drops (which is also day 23 since having those go down to
once a day).

The eye still wears out fast so is open only a few hours each day, and
is very blurry so it wears out my other eye, and it still hates bright
light despite being able to contract better now.

So, there is progress but it is very slow since this is day 54 since
the bleb surgery.

On Thursday they will have to see if it is healed enough to try new
eyeglass lenses. Once I can focus better with new lenses things may
well improve a lot because currently the operated on eye not only has
the field loss from advanced glaucoma but also has poor acuity so is
constantly blurred.

Also, I have learned a trick: if I take multiple exercise breaks of at
least 20 minutes with BOTH eyes closed in a day that is invigorating
for my body while it rests my eyes. Before doing that I was just
falling asleep many times each day without warning from eye exhaustion
but yesterday I did that only once.

Lori was not joking when she warned me from experience that there would
be around 2 months of great difficulty using my eyes.

There needs to be a website w low vision and no vision tips to read
before such surgeries if there is not one somewhere that I did not
find.
