Hi all,

Our little Pooh's labs came back as having the beginning of adrenal
cancer. Our vet (as I posted before) doesn't want to remove the right
adrenal but will remove the left. He's never been away from home before
and tomorrow he goes to spend the night with our vet. She's going to
fill in at another vet clinic and they have an ultrasound and she
doesn't. She wants to determine which side it is. If it's the right
we'll have the UGA vet med hospital do his surgery. I'm not afraid of
the ultrasound but of all things I'm apprehensive of him being without
us. Will he feel we've abandoned him? He won't understand where we are.
Will he be unduly stressed on top of the cancer? It has to be done but I
guess I just need reassuring. Boy, when the surgery's scheduled I WILL
be a basket case!!! This will be our first surgery. We are VERY scared!
Thanks for any prayers and oving thoughts you all can send our way.
