Go to www.petfooddirect.com and check out Taste of the Wild and
Wilderness by Blue Buffalo. Both of this are very high in protein.
Blue Buffalo has several varieties, but you will want the Wilderness.
More real meat.

Also you can call them and find out what might be better. You can go to
each place and check out all the ingredients and amounts of carbs and
protein. They are very good at helping you find the foods you need.

Both of these are cat food. But small kibble. Fine for ferrets.

Also good for intestinal problems is yogurt. You can make your own.
Just check on Amazon for yogurt makers. Yogurt helps increase the
flora in the gut.
