I doubt it.  They simply don't live long enough for fur loss.  They
show symtoms in 1 to 4 weeks after exposure, then die shortly thereafter.
 
[The picture I saw (nth hand xerox copy) musta been a rash rather than
alopecia.]
 
The sources I have say "nearly 100% mortality rate", so I guess they have
saved a few.
