Although I agree with all of you that shipping ferrets is not a good idea,
I just wanted to remind you all that the Marshalls ferrets you all own
were shipped.  All Marshalls ferrets in the pet stores were flown out to
the local stores in small wooden crates with some hay, 2 cans for food and
water nailed to the side, and 12 ferrets to a case.  Just wanted to put
some perspective to all of you who are looking down on the people who
would order a ferret and have it shipped.  If you buy a Marshalls ferret
from a store, you had it shipped too.  (Remember I agree that shipping
ferrets sucks, I just wanted you to think about it).
