I found a really great treat for the ferrets tonight.  We picked up Chinese
food from a fav resturant, and discovered the counter person wasn't
speaking English.  Mr. Percy panicked and went point, point, point, point.
One of the dishes had tiny little 2 inch octopuses!  Aack, this is not my
idea of food.  I fished them all out and we dined.
 
Afterward, I rinsed the little guys off, put them on a plate, and strolled
out to the ferret room.  Instant hit.  Well, when 2 out of our 4 like
something, it's considered a hit in our house.  Welly, and his younger
sibling, Muffet, both thought they were yummy.  They took a lot of chewing,
but they each ate 2.
 
So for ferrets with discerning tastes, try octopus!
