Our beloved Taz, aka Princess Taziko, Jazzy Spazzy Tazzy or simply
Girly-girl lost her battle with lymphoma on Monday afternoon. She was
almost 8, as near as we knew - she was a rescue- and had the sweetest,
saddest little chocolate face, even when she was eating her favorite
treats (Ferretvite and animal crackers were her two great loves) or
snuggling with her buddies Mitsuko and Ryuichi. Tazzy was rescued by
Melanie Hawkins from a teensy, filthy cage in which she'd been kept for
so long, she couldn't even balance on her hind legs. It was a joy and an
honor to be able to give her three years of love and play, to watch her
grow strong and learn to dance. She was such a lady, always scrupulous
about the litter box and keeping her "babies" (fuzzy mouse toys) in a
neat pile. Her fur was always kitten soft....

Sandee, please make sure our little girl meets up with her big brother
Ryuichi, Melanie's big boy Norm, Austin the Levitating Poodle, and with
the nameless love who lived with her and died in that little cage without
ever getting to dance. I'm sure she'll want to dance with him now.

Thank you, Sandee, for watching out for our little ones,
Marin, Ricky and Raul (humans) and Mitsi
missing Ryuichi and Her Royal Highness Princess Taziko of Cushionia
